Fred J. Eaglesmith (born July 9, 1957) is a Canadian singer?songwriter who began releasing records in 1980 and built a devoted following through extensive touring and narrative-driven songs. He has led several ensembles (including the Flying Squirrels and the Flathead Noodlers), fronts the Fred Eaglesmith Travelling Steam Show, and appeared as musical guest on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2010.
