The Farm at Awbury is a 16-acre agricultural hub within Awbury Arboretum in East Germantown, featuring community farm plots, beehives, the Philly Goat Project, and an Education Center and open-air pavilion used for rentals. Established as the Agricultural Village and reintroduced as The Farm at Awbury in 2019, it hosts family-friendly programs and seasonal events like Harvest Fest, and is free to explore from dawn to dusk. Set in a leafy Northwest Philly neighborhood near Mt. Airy, it’s more of a standalone green escape than a bar-hopping strip.

Parking

No general on-site parking; visitors are asked to use free street parking on Ardleigh Street and Washington Lane (ADA parking permitted inside; renters may briefly load/unload).

Public transit

SEPTA Regional Rail: Washington Lane Station on the Chestnut Hill East Line is directly across from an Arboretum entrance; SEPTA bus routes 18 and 26 stop nearby on Chew Avenue.
