Headhouse Shambles is a historic open-air market shed on South 2nd Street between Pine and Lombard, anchored by the 1804 Head House and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966. Today it hosts the year?round Headhouse Farmers Market, vintage flea markets, weddings, and neighborhood festivals, serving as a community hub at the east end of South Street in Society Hill. The long, brick?columned canopy creates an atmospheric backdrop for pop?ups and large outdoor gatherings.
