Crystal Ship is widely recognized as the first-ever tribute band to the Doors, formed in the late 1970s before the "tribute band" industry was formally established. This East Coast band achieved massive success for decades, but it wasn’t until the 21st Century that band began to feature an All-Star musical lineup fronted by Eddie Racci, who has often sung with Robby Krieger.
