Allen Crawford is an illustrator and naturalist. A lifelong resident of South Jersey, he has served as a volunteer for several New Jersey conservation groups and environmental agencies for nearly thirty years. His latest illustrated book, A Wild Promise, celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Endangered Species Act and includes over 100 illustrations. He is currently a part-time trail steward for NJ Parks.

Accessibility:
This event will take place in the Coach House, an indoor space that is accessible via wheelchair. The Coach House is about a 3-minute walk from the main Visitor Parking Loop, on a slight downhill incline with a paved ramp path. Gendered, multi-stall public restrooms and all-gender single restrooms, both ADA-accessible, are about a one-minute walk.
We’re happy to make accommodations for guests with mobility limitations. Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths should be used at your own discretion. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of time to *protected email*.
