Roa

ROA is the moniker of Latin urban music singer Gilberto Figueroa. Born in 1996 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, Figueroa first made headlines after starring on a Paloma Mami video (which sparked a much-publicized relationship). Around 2020 he began to release his own singles, developing a unique brand of romantic trap and reggaeton with R&B and soul influences that stood out among the ultra-crowded Puerto Rican urban scene. Some of his early hits included "Pa Cuando," "Jetski-Remix" (both 2022), and especially the viral success "ETA - RMX" (2024), featuring De La Rose, Luar La L, Yan Block, and Omar Courtz. ROA's first album, Private Suite, Vol. 1, appeared in 2023. Its sequel, Private Suite, Vol. 2, followed one year later. Typically prolific, he released at least one single per month in the first half of 2025, among these were "Reina," "Fantasia," and "PPC."
