Timo Andres (born 1985) is an American composer and pianist whose works have been commissioned and performed by major institutions including Carnegie Hall, the Boston Symphony, and the Concertgebouw. His piano concerto The Blind Banister was a 2016 Pulitzer Prize finalist; he has released collaborative albums with Sufjan Stevens (The Decalogue, Reflections) and received a Tony nomination for orchestrations on a Broadway adaptation of Illinois.
