Founded in 2016 by Megan Hawkey (DJ Riot Meg), Riot Nerd is a Philadelphia-based event promoter known for themed fandom dance parties, drag shows and multi-room club nights. The brand marked its 10-year anniversary with a two-room party at Underground Arts in February 2026 and was named Philly Mag’s "Best Dance Party" in 2023; in late 2025 the organizer publicly warned financial strain could force the operation to scale back.
