Lunacy was the original name used by the Japanese rock band that later became known as Luna Sea. The group rose to national prominence in the 1990s with multiple best-selling albums and played a major role in the visual-kei/alternative rock scene; they also released an album titled "Lunacy" in 2000 and have reunited for milestone shows following an initial hiatus.
