Arun Ramamurthy Trio (Arun Ramamurthy with Sameer Gupta and Damon Banks) released the album New Moon on Greenleaf Music (2024) and has appeared at venues and festivals including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, and Brooklyn Raga Massive. Rudresh Mahanthappa’s Hero Trio (with François Moutin and Rudy Royston) released Hero Trio in 2020 and the EP Animal Crossing in 2022; Mahanthappa is a Guggenheim Fellow and serves as Director of Jazz at Princeton University.
